Wes Hayden appointed President and CEO of Genesys

WOKINGHAM, U.K. -- Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., a subsidiary of Alcatel (NYSE: ALA, Paris: CGEP.PA), today announced that Wes Hayden has been appointed president and CEO, effective immediately. Mr Hayden has more than five years' tenure at Genesys as senior vice president, Americas, where he led a profitable and growing sales organisation, as well as previous sales and management experience at Informix, Sun Microsystems, Digital Equipment Corporation and Applied Data Research. Mr Hayden replaces Laurent Philonenko, who has left the company.
