RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Overture Networks, the industry’s trusted Carrier Ethernet solutions provider, announced today that it has completed the deployment of its award-winning Ethernet technologies for Canadian Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), Fibernetics Corp. The deployment bolsters Fibernetics Business Services division, as it aggressively provisions the small- and medium-sized business (SMBs) market with Ethernet business services in direct competition against incumbent providers.

Fibernetics Corp. is both a CLEC and Internet Service Provider (ISP), providing advanced voice and data services at speeds ranging from 2 Mbits to 50 Mbits. Fibernetics Business Services’ division has deployed the Overture Networks HN4000 and HN400 Ethernet over bonded copper platforms, providing the company with a strategic competitive edge in the SMB business services market. The best-of-breed solutions enable delivery of high-speed symmetrical enterprise-grade Ethernet services over the installed copper infrastructure – a revenue multiplier in the company’s expanding Ethernet business services strategy.
