C-Cor.net Goes Indonesian

Wins contract to supply fiber optics, amplifiers, and network management system in Indonesia

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- C-COR.net (Nasdaq: CCBL -news) announced today that the Company is partof a successful consortium bid to develop a broadband network inIndonesia for Pt. Indosat Mega Media (IMM). During the firstphase of the contract, C-COR.net will supply equipment for theconstruction of an HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) system passing 15,000Indonesian homes from two headends -- one in Jakarta and one inSurabaya. Designed for 500 to 750 homes per node, the newnetwork will include C-COR.net's lumaCOR(TM) AM (Amplitude Modulation)fiber optic headend equipment, naviCOR(TM) opticalnodes, FlexNet® 900 Series coaxial cable amplifiers, and the CNM(TM)(Cable Network Manager) element management system.The network will offer video and cable modem service to subscribers. IMManticipates eventually expanding the project to includemore than 400,000 homes passed.The winning consortium includes Fujikura Ltd. of Japan serving as theoptical fiber manufacturer; Pt. Sumitomo Indonesia ofIndonesia and Sumitomo Corporation of Japan serving as the maincontractor to IMM and total project coordinator; and Pan AsianSystems (PAS) of Hong Kong supplying signal distribution equipment.
