Bell Labs Headed by New Prez

MURRAY HILL, N.J. -- Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - news) today announced the appointment of Bill O'Shea as President of its research and development arm, Bell Labs, as well as the company's chief technology officer. O'Shea will also continue to serve in his current role of Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Marketing.
