ST. LOUIS, Mo. and CHICAGO -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management and the intentional customer experience, today announced the availability of the Amdocs Order-to-Activation Solution. This comprehensive solution combines Amdocs pre-integrated, modular products, including the new Amdocs Fulfillment Manager, with new consulting services and an extensive partner ecosystem, allowing communications service providers (CSPs) to streamline the disparate systems and manual processes that support all the steps required between the time a customer orders a new service, and the moment that service is available for use on the customer's mobile device, at his or her business or home.

The Amdocs Order-to-Activation Solution unifies service ordering, provisioning and activation across all products and lines-of-business that a CSP might have. This enables CSPs to provide their customers with a seamless and integrated view of their organisation, eliminating multiple service calls, redundant processes and support systems. This integrated approach allows CSPs to rapidly deploy competitive voice, data and cross-product bundled services, reduce costs, and create an intentional and seamless customer experience.

"As CSPs expand the portfolio of services and bundles they offer to customers, they must improve how they execute on the increasingly complex order management process to provide a positive customer experience," said Sharon Ballard, senior analyst, Yankee Group. "Investments in order management offerings such as Amdocs will provide CSPs the ability to bundle and deliver both new and existing services quickly to customers - which in turn will enhance the customer experience and help drive customer loyalty."

The Amdocs solution combines Amdocs' pre-integrated products, which are part of the Amdocs 6 portfolio, with network resource management software and wireline activation software from an extensive partner ecosystem. The Amdocs products include Amdocs Ordering 6, Amdocs Sales, Amdocs Self Service, Amdocs Activation Manager and the new Amdocs Fulfillment Manager. The solution also leverages Amdocs' market-proven operational support systems (OSS) expertise, and incorporates Amdocs Service Fulfillment Improvement Service and Amdocs OSS Implementation Service. Amdocs will act as the prime systems integrator for the solution, taking on complete project management, including the integration and implementation of partner products and ensuring full accountability.

Located at the centre of service fulfillment operations, Amdocs Fulfillment Manager automates and streamlines provisioning and network build processes. The product enables CSPs to easily and rapidly define, modify and manage business processes in a dynamic environment, while unburdening service providers from the costly and complex operations of multiple service fulfillment systems. The product also enables the sharing of domain expertise and best practices, maximises the effectiveness of a CSP's operations and engineering staff, as well as facilitates integration with Amdocs and third-party products. Amdocs Fulfillment Manager improves the customer experience by providing transparency during the service fulfillment process and by rapidly and accurately provisioning next-generation services.

"In order to stay competitive, CSPs must differentiate themselves by launching hundreds of new and increasingly complex services each year; speed-to-market and efficiency of processes are essential," said Michael Matthews, chief marketing officer at Amdocs. "Amdocs Order-to-Activation Solution is an end-to-end service fulfillment solution and expands Amdocs' presence in the OSS market. The solution helps service providers link customer processes to the network and remove product and technology silos to provide a superior, intentional customer experience and build more profitable customer relationships."
