MINNEAPOLIS -- CNT® (Nasdaq: CMNT -news), the global specialist in storage networking, announced today thatits product, the UltraNet Wave Multiplexer, has been qualified by EMCCorporation as E-Lab Tested(TM) for Fibre Channel storage.

CNT's DenseWave Division Product (DWDM) is qualified to support EMC's FibreChannel- and ESCON-based Symmetrix® and CLARiiON® enterprise informationstorage systems as well as EMC's data replication solutions, SRDF(TM)and MirrorView, expanding CNT's storage networking offerings availablefor optical metropolitan-area environments."By expanding our qualifications with EMC, we're offering our mutualcustomers more choices for the type of network architecture that bestmeets their business needs and investments in optical metropolitan-areanetwork applications," said Mark Knittel, VP of Worldwide ProductOperations at CNT.
