The Modulator Controller is a unique device combining a 12.5 Gb/s modulator driver with advanced bias control, dither, and power conditioning circuitry. The integration of these functions into one value-added sub-assembly provides significant space and power reductions for transponder board designs. CODEON is enabling system OEMs to minimize transponder board space and power consumption by integrating essential control functions with the modulator driver. The Mach-10T Optical Modulator Controller combines high-reliability packaging technology with state-of-the-art microwave technology to provide a high-quality, low jitter, non-inverting output voltage to drive external optical modulators.
