Cenus Tests Routing Software

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA -- Cenus Technologies(tm) a start-up company located in Scotts Valley, California, today announced it has concluded the benchmark testing of its next generation Layer 7 routing technology at the labs of Sun Microsystems, Inc. For this testing regimen, the Cenus routing software platform was paired with advanced server systems from Sun Microsystems to measure performance, scalability and reliability. These tests, completed upon a full representative range of the newest Sun advanced server systems show how Cenus' next generation routing technology scales from entry level systems to midrange and mainframe systems, creating solutions capable of offering urgently needed solutions to the most difficult problems for networking and network based computing. The rigorous tests were designed to demonstrate the capabilities of real-world networks that implement a solution based upon the technologies by Cenus. The tests were performed in various areas of service delivery. While Cenus tested its novel technology with existing services such as content delivery, also tested were novel services, not yet disclosed, which revolve around the networking of applications, software and web services; services for which today no viable solutions exists.
