Verizon Wireless names Marla Goodwyn director of sales for southern California

IRVINE, Calif. -- Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, has appointed Marla Goodwyn to serve as director of sales for the company's Southern California region. In her new position, Goodwyn will lead, plan and direct sales of wireless communication and information products and services to businesses throughout Los Angeles, Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties. "Marla is stepping into her role at the perfect time. Verizon Wireless now operates an exceptional national high-speed wireless data network, which is enabling millions of Americans across the country to stay connected to the Web and their company's intranet applications without plugging in," said Southern California Region President Greg Klimek. Goodwyn has more than 17 years of sales experience and nine years of experience in the wireless industry, most recently serving as the director of sales for AT&T Wireless in Cerritos, Calif.
