Verizon Deploying Acterna System

GERMANTOWN, Md. -- Acterna (NASDAQ: ACTR), the second largest provider of communications test and management solutions, today announced that Verizon Communications has selected Acterna's NetOptimize Capacity Manager OSS (operations support system) to support optimized performance of a variety of services on the carrier's national consumer data network. Nationwide deployment of the system is in progress.
