Announces its IdentityBridge standard edition
April 25, 2005
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Trustgenix, Inc., the leader in federated identity management software, today announced IdentityBridge™ Standard Edition (SE) which makes federated identity universally accessible to companies of all sizes. IdentityBridge SE enables large enterprises to easily extend single sign-on (SSO) and identity federation to smaller firms with limited IT resources. Using IdentityBridge a large enterprise can create a federation hub to connect smaller partners, suppliers, and customers in spoke fashion so they can securely access web applications it makes available to them. IdentityBridge SE can also interoperate with federation hubs based on any third-party access control product including those from Computer Associates, Hewlett Packard, IBM, RSA Security, and others.
"Federated identity will only realize its true potential when enterprises, large and small, are able to deploy the technology easily and in a standard, interoperable and relatively pain-free way," said Ray Wagner, Vice President and Research Director at Gartner, Inc. "Standards-based technical offerings that enable companies with limited IT expertise to join federation hubs created by their customers and business partners may help accelerate the widespread adoption of identity federation."
