German network provider Inexio deploys Carrier Ethernet from RAD
July 19, 2012
MUNICH -- Inexio Informationstechnologie Telekommunikation KGaA – an innovative German network and data center service provider – has deployed RAD Data Communications’ EtherAccess solutions to connect its business customers over fiber optic infrastructure, as well as for Multiservice Access Node access.
In order to offer its customers high-quality and cost-effective services, Inexio has rolled out Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) certified Carrier Ethernet technology. This allows operators of Ethernet networks to specify and ensure Quality of Service (QoS) up to the flow level. To ensure quality of transmission, Ethernet OAM mechanisms, as well as in-service performance monitoring tools, continuously monitor the network connection and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
Pan Dacom Direkt GmbH, a longtime technology partner of RAD Data Communications, is responsible for consulting, planning and implementing the project.
