AUTSIN, Texas -- Motive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOTV), a leading provider of management software, today announced that its broadband management products now give both cable broadband and DSL providers greater ability to consistently deliver and profitably manage their entire portfolio of digital services, including Voice over IP (VoIP), video, and high-speed data.

Motive's unique software is the first to make self-management an integral part of broadband services themselves. Regardless of where a service is installed, what it is connected to, or how often it changes, Motive's software equips the service with intelligent automation, ensuring that it is effortless to set up, use and maintain. This significantly accelerates the time to value for providers by lowering service delivery costs and creating a superior customer experience.

Many of the world's broadband leaders are validating Motive's innovative approach. In separate press releases today, Motive announced that Deutsche Telekom will build Motive software into its digital services; and Alcatel will offer Motive's broadband products as part of its DSL service management portfolio. Recently, BT and SOFTBANK BB also chose to make Motive software part of their current and future broadband services.

In a separate release:

AUSTIN, Texas -- Motive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOTV), a leading provider of management software, today announced that T-Com, Europe's largest telecommunications provider, has chosen to build Motive software into its next-generation small business and residential services.

Through its T-Com division, Deutsche Telekom has grown its DSL service to the largest in Europe with more than four million small business and residential broadband lines. Building on this success, T-Com will use Motive's software products to more quickly roll out new self-managing broadband services that will enhance the customer experience and improve operational efficiencies for T-Com.

"With the importance of our broadband services initiative, we turned to Motive as a partner to provide the enabling technology platform behind these services," said Roland Kittel, CTO of T-Com. "T-Com will build in management capabilities as key features of our broadband products and services, and Motive software makes it easier to deploy."

In a separate release:

AUSTIN, Texas -- Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA and NYSE: ALA) and Motive (NASDAQ: MOTV), a leading provider of management software, today announced at Broadband World Forum Europe that they have entered into a strategic alliance that will help broadband service providers more cost-effectively acquire and retain subscribers, as well as grow revenue. Through the relationship, Alcatel, whose broadband solutions are present in more than 120 operators in the world, will sell, customise, deploy and support Motive's core broadband self-management products on a global basis as part of Alcatel's DSL Subscriber Care solution.

The new Motive-enabled Alcatel solution will allow broadband providers to make their voice, video and data services self-managing. Alcatel DSL Subscriber Care complements Alcatel's existing DSL service assurance and provisioning solutions, all of which power the Alcatel Operational Excellence portfolio of DSL service products.

"With this new suite of software, Alcatel now offers solutions covering the whole scope from CPE to network to broadband applications," said Frederic Rose, President of integration and services activities. "The Alcatel DSL Subscriber Care solution will enable our broadband customers to significantly improve their activation and support operations. Based on Motive's proven market success, we are confident that they are the right choice as a core software provider, and are a valuable extension to our DSL Operational Excellence solution."
