BRØNDBY, DENMARK -- The Danish Minister of Industry Pia Gjellerup today inaugurated a new Lucent Technologies US$20 million dollar optical fibre manufacturing facility at Lucent's flagship fibre manufacturing site here. At the same time, Lucent announced plans for an additional US$110 million dollar investment at the facility, which is expected to increase the number of employees by about 250 in the next two years.
