Germany-based Axiros to provide TR-069 device management to Liberty Global.
March 19, 2014
Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA), the leading international cable operator, has selected Axiros, a technology leader in open device management, to remotely provision and manage its customer premise equipment (CPE) across a new B2B Voice over Internet (VoIP) service. The partnership establishes Axiros as a unique TR-069 device management provider to Liberty Global, a multi-billion dollar corporation, for three years.
Specifically, Liberty Global will begin its partnership with Axiros with the deployment of Axiros’ flagship product, AXESS.ACS, within its SoHo division and then extend from there to other strategic projects. SoHo customers demand high quality service, especially when it comes to VoIP, and AXESS.ACS will allow Liberty Global to meet those demands. Another key consideration for Liberty Global – a company with operations in 14 countries across Europe and in Latin America – was Axiros’ ability to manage devices across numerous countries.
