Retired French Naval officer Jean-Michel Brière comes on board as the new marketing VP at Intasys Billing Technologies

EDINBURGH, U.K. -- Jean-Michel Brière has joined leading billing systems and EBPP company Intasys Billing Technologies as Vice President for Marketing, with a remit to head up the software and systems company’s global marketing activities.With 20 years marketing and management experience in the high tech sector, Brière arrives from Proxima Systems where he was also VP marketing.Assuming responsibility for marketing across five offices spanning North America, Europe and Australasia, Brière is seeking to increase Intasys Billing Technologies’ marketing visibility and international PR.Central to his strategy is creating a greater alignment with portal customers, as well aggressively advocating the value of Intasys Billing Technologies product-based solutions.Briere explains: “Economically the telecoms industry is working in a difficult and uncertain environment. However, Intasys Billing Technologies has a well-developed product range and is well-positioned to take advantage of the existing opportunities in the marketplace. “Many companies have over-invested in networks and new technology, and in the process they’ve forgotten about their customers. The industry needs to refocus its investment into customer care, and that’s an exciting challenge that we must address on a daily basis.”Brière has a masters degree in Industrial Marketing from Arts et Métiers (Paris), as well as degrees in Avionic Engineering and Naval Mechanical Engineering.
