Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, France's leading engineering school, deploys RAD's IPmux TDMoIP gateway

EVRY, France -- France's prestigious Ecole Nationale Supérieure desTélécommunications (ENST) has deployed the IPmux-1T TDM over IP gatewayfrom RAD Data Communications in order to transport E1 traffic over an IPnetwork between an IP telephony gateway and the school's PBX. The connection serves the school's High Speed Networking Team, which iscomprised of professors and doctoral and other graduate students who areresearching network architecture evolution, all-optical networks, Qualityof Service (QoS) architectures, network routing, multicast, trafficengineering and convergence services, among other topics. To facilitate its research, the High Speed Networking Team has deployed andinterconnected a wide variety of networking technologies and services,including MPLS, IP multicast, Ipv6, DiffServ, broadband access, xDSL/DSLAM,BAS, VoDSL, and IP telephony and videoconferencing, which are part of aconvergence services development platform. To simplify the deployment ofthe IP telephony architecture, ENST chose RAD's TDM over IP solution. RAD Data Communications Ltd.
