ECI Telecom appoints Krish Prabhu, former Alcatel COO and current venture partner at Morgenthaler, to its board of directors

PETAH TIKVA, Israel -- ECI Telecom (Nasdaq: ECIL - News) announced today the appointment of Krish Prabhu to its Board of Directors. Krish Prabhu is a recognized expert and a 20+ year veteran of the telecommunications industry. He was Chief Operating Officer of Alcatel where he managed the launch of its worldwide DSL products and its growth in the US as a key supplier to ILEC accounts such as Verizon, BellSouth and SBC. As CEO of Alcatel USA, he drove the launch of its cross-connect products in key accounts such as AT&T and Worldcom, and was responsible for the acquisition and integration of several companies including DSC and Newbridge. Prabhu is currently a venture partner at Morgenthaler where he focuses primarily on telecommunications investments.
