Allied Telesis announced the launch of its AT-9400 series of network switches

MUNICH -- Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure Ethernet/IP access solutions and an industry leader in the deployment of IP Triple Play networks over copper and fibre access infrastructures, today announced the launch of its AT-9400 series of network switches. The AT-9400 is the first in the industry that delivers 10Gbps connectivity direct to the wiring closet without the need for installing expensive additional modules inside the switch. The new AT-9400 family includes Layer 3 capabilities and 10/100/1000T Gigabit downstream ports as well as optional external redundant PSU to support increased system uptime. All four switches in the family also feature exceptional QoS Levels and comprehensive network security protection.
