OAKLAND, Calif. -- Zhone Technologies, Inc., the first company dedicated to building total-delivery solutions for voice, data, and content services worldwide today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Xybridge Technologies, Inc., based in Richardson, Texas. Xybridge is a leading developer of carrier-class broadband access network softswitch solutions, providing call control, telephony features, applications, and open, standards-based service creation interfaces, enabling new revenue generating multi-media services over a distributed IP-core infrastructure.
