Wind River completes Tornado for Managed Switches integration support for Motorola's C-Port C-5 network processor

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Wind River Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:WIND), a leading provider of software and services for connected smart devices, today announced the completion of the switch support package (SSP) integrating the Tornado(R) for Managed Switches (TMS) 2.0 product line with the C-5(TM) Network Processor from Motorola's (NYSE:MOT) C-Port(TM) Corporation. The initial cooperative development agreement was announced in January of this year. Integrated together, TMS and the C-5 processor bring a significant time to market advantage in the development of advanced networking devices used in optical networking and metropolitan Gigabit Ethernet applications.
