Hervé Hautin named director of manufacturing at Teem Photonics
April 30, 2001
GRENOBLE, France -- Teem Photonics, a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative active and passive optical components for optical networks, today announced the appointment of Hervé Hautin as director of manufacturing.
Unlike many other optical component manufacturers, Teem Photonics¹ planar platform technology is intrinsically well suited to high volume production. "Hautin¹s experience will be invaluable to us as we ramp up production of our splitters and EDWAs (erbium doped waveguide amplifiers) to respond to the overwhelming industry demand," stated Teem Photonics CEO, Antoine Kévorkian.
Hautin brings over 12 years of manufacturing and development experience to the position. Prior to joining Teem Photonics, Hautin served two years as plant director at Philips Lighting (450 employees), where he oversaw the creation of high-volume manufacturing processes, and 11 years in various management positions at Philips Semiconductors, where he set-up and ran the plant¹s first 6-inch wafer fab.
