Sprint Declares Dividend

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The board of directors of Sprint has declared regular third quarter dividends for the Sprint FON Group (NYSE: FON - News). A dividend of 12.5 cents per share on Sprint FON Common Stock, Series 1 was declared and will be paid September 30, 2002, to shareholders of record at the close of business, September 9, 2002. The FON Group is composed of Sprint's Global Markets Division, Local Telecommunications Division and product distribution and directory publishing businesses. Sprint Corp.
