Stefan Braken-Guelke joins Santel Networks as CEO

NEWARK, Calif. -- Santel Networks, a startup that is developing technology for dynamic signal enhancement in optical networks, announced today the appointment of Stefan Braken-Guelke as chief executive officer. "I am excited to announce this important addition to our management team," said Manoj Puri, Santel Networks founder and chief technology officer. "Stefan's experience in related industries makes him an ideal person to take the company forward from our current stage." Before joining Santel Networks, Stefan was chief operating officer at Zilog, Inc. where he played a key role in restructuring the company. Before Zilog, his experience included vice president of Marketing and Sales at Hifn, Inc., and vice president, Logic Division, at Integrated Device Technology. Before IDT, Stefan worked 13 years at Philips Semiconductors, where his last position was general manager of the Handheld Computing Group. Stefan has an M.S. in Physical Engineering from University of Wedel, Germany. Santel Networks Inc.
