Ibrahim (Abe) Korgav named senior vice president of manufacturing and business operations

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- NetLogic Microsystems, Inc., the leader in network data plane system solutions that enable the global infrastructure of networking and optical communications, today announced the appointment of Ibrahim (Abe) Korgav as senior vice president of manufacturing and business operations. In his new role, Korgav will be responsible for various operations, including production control, product test and engineering, quality, human resources and finance. A veteran in the semiconductor industry, Korgav has more than 27 years of manufacturing and operational experience in semiconductor and optical (DWDM) transport systems. He has held various management and executive positions in many semiconductor companies, including co-founding one company and guiding two companies to very successful IPOs. "Abe’s proven track record and solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and operations will be instrumental to us as we ramp our data plane solutions into high volume production," said Ron Jankov, NetLogic’s president and CEO.
