LONDON -- Carrier grade Ethernet Service provider, Exponential-e has appointed Sue Kingsley as its sales director. Her appointment coincides with the rollout of Exponential-e’s Next Generation Network, and the ambitious sales targets for 2006 which are reliant on delivering next generation services across the UK. An immediate objective is to recruit 10 new sales staff.
Kingsley’s team will focus on medium/large corporate and blue chip organisations, since these businesses typically have a requirement for the volume of capacity and quality of service that Exponential-e offers. While planning to target all vertical markets, emphasis will be given to the media and finance sectors, along with professional services, where Exponential-e has enjoyed major success.
Kingsley has worked for Exponential-e in sales since it began trading in 2002 and previously worked for CIX, Nextra and Telenor, gaining experience in customer service management as well as sales. Her background in service is expected to ensure Exponential-e continues to deliver first class pre and post sales support.
Lee Wade, MD of Exponential-e: “The market for network services has become increasingly competitive in recent years, with the largest global players vying for their share. While the introduction of next generation services will undoubtedly help distinguish Exponential-e from its competitors, the technology is not enough. It is pivotal that the sales team is lead by someone who understands our model and how customers benefit from our solutions above and beyond those of our competitors. Sue has this knowledge”.
