EXi Acquires Equilon

WARRINGTON, U.K. -- EXi telecoms, a leading, independent provider of telecom services, has announced that it has agreed terms for the acquisition of high-end telecom service provider Equilon. This acquisition brings new technology and services to EXi telecoms' already comprehensive portfolio, including network operating centre expertise and operations, installation and maintenance facilities. EXi telecoms will provide international channels to market for Equilon's services as well as enabling cost savings for the new group by sharing premises and support services such as HR and Finance. Equilon will continue to trade under its own name, within the EXi group, and build on its existing brand for high end services.
