Endace appoints Randy Caldejon as vice president of security solutions; will open new sales and development center in Washington

AUCKLAND, New Zealand -- Endace Ltd, the leading provider of high-performance network interface and hardware acceleration solutions for network security applications, announced today that it has expanded its management team, and opened a new product development facility in Washington, DC.
Randy Caldejon joins Endace as Vice-President of Security Solutions, based in Washington, DC. He will lead an engineering team charged with the task of leveraging Endace's core network acceleration technology into a new generation of accelerated security solutions. Caldejon has over eighteen years of business and technical leadership experience, and joins Endace from Vigilant Labs, which he co-founded. Vigilant developed technology focused on national security solutions. Prior to that he was VP of Engineering at ShadowLogic, Inc., an information assurance solutions provider serving the government and commercial markets in the U.S.
Caldejon holds a Masters in Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is also an alumnus of the Information Assurance postgraduate program at Iowa State University.
