Mark Rogus joined Corning in 1996 as manager of Corporate Finance

CORNING, N.Y. -- Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW - news) today announced that Mark S. Rogus has been elected vice president and treasurer. Rogus will be responsible for Corning's worldwide Treasury functions, including corporate finance, treasury operations, risk management, investment and pensions.
Rogus 41, joined Corning in 1996 as manager of Corporate Finance. In 1999, he was appointed assistant treasurer. Prior to joining Corning, Rogus held various business development positions at Wachovia Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in education from Clemson University and a master's degree in business administration from Wake Forest University.
