Claro Chile selects Amdocs to enable quad-play and LTE offerings

LOUIS -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and services, today announced that Claro Chile, one of the country’s largest service providers, has selected Amdocs to consolidate its business and operational support systems (B/OSS) in order to speed delivery of new services, realize greater operational efficiencies and provide an enhanced experience for all of its customers.By replacing multiple legacy systems with Amdocs customer experience systems solutions, Claro Chile will enable true service convergence across all of its quad-play lines of business – mobile, landline, Internet and cable TV – while reducing total cost of systems ownership. Amdocs will deploy products for convergent charging, bill formatting, ordering, customer management, provisioning, activation, and its enterprise product catalog.
