Carrier Execs Dominate Top 10 Influencers List

Light Reading's latest "Movers & Shakers" list, for so long dominated by vendor executives, has a hefty service provider flavor this time around, with half the list coming from the carrier community. (See Top 10 Movers & Shakers.)

Our latest selection of the individuals that are, in our view, "the biggest influencers in the global telecom next-generation communications space," includes executives from Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Mumbai: BHARTIARTL), China Mobile Ltd. (NYSE: CHL), Clearwire LLC (Nasdaq: CLWR), Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), and Telefónica SA (NYSE: TEF).

From the vendor side of the fence, Ericsson AB (Nasdaq: ERIC), Genband Inc. (honest!), Nokia Networks , and VMware Inc. (NYSE: VMW) managed representation this time around.

And then there's Google (Nasdaq: GOOG)...
