Former JDSU executive named to advisory board of dispersion management technology developer

NETANYA, Israel -- Aelis Photonics, Inc., an emerging innovator in dispersion management technology, today announced the addition of Alka Swanson, Ph.D., to its advisory board.
“Dr. Swanson brings a strong dimension to the company as we prepare to unveil our technology and products,” said Menachem Tipris, Aelis Photonics’ chief executive officer. “Along with her wealth of experience in the optical components market, both on the technical and business side, she understands the needs of our customers and will help us in formulating our strategy.”
Currently the executive Vice President of Princeton Lightwave (PLI) and a former VP at JDSU, Dr. Swanson’s addition will greatly assist Aelis as the company transitions from development to manufacturing and sales.
