7:00 PM -- In recent years, various culinary innovators have attempted to improve on perfection and create the world's greatest cheeseburger, either by using weird ingredients like Kobe Beef or truffles... or just making it really, really big. But none of them, to the best of our knowledge, has ever created anything as gut-wrenchingly repulsive as a "donut burger"... until today.

Well, Wednesday. That's the day the Frontier League's Gateway Grizzlies introduced what they call "Baseball's Best Burger": a tasty concoction consisting of a hamburger, topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon, served between two halves of a Krispy Kreme donut.


According to ESPN, "calorie counters predict the monster will set you back about 1,000 calories and 45 grams of fat." Which is almost enough to make this omnivore swear off red meat altogether.
