(www.TUVamerica.com), announces it has awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification to Équipe Communications Corporation(www.equipecom.com) of Acton, MA on January 18, 2002. The ISO 9000 certificate was presented to Dennis Rainville, President, CEO and Co-founder, Équipe Communications by Richard King-Davies, Lead Auditor, TÜV Management Service at a ceremony held on February 1, 2002.ISO 9001:2000 is a quality management system standard that specifies, in very broad terms, the necessary components of a quality management system. Published on December 15, 2000, ISO 9001:2000 succeeds the ISO 9000:1994 standard, becoming mandatory after a three-year transition period ending December 15, 2003.
