Brix Promotes Hedayat to CTO

CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Brix Networks (www.brixnet.com), the trusted provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) performance management solutions, today announced the promotion of Kaynam Hedayat to chief technology officer, a newly created position. Previously, he was the company's director of VoIP technology.

Reporting to Brix Networks' president and CEO, Tom Pincince, Hedayat is responsible for defining and driving the overall strategic technology direction of the growing VoIP service assurance firm, speaking and working with customers and partners, and representing the company on applicable standards bodies and at various industry events.

"As one of our earliest employees, Kaynam has played a vital role within the Brix engineering organization and has greatly contributed to the company's success to date," said Pincince. "He is an acknowledged expert in the areas of Voice and Video over IP, is extremely well respected both inside and outside the company, and will be a major asset to the Brix executive management team."
