Baruch Sterman
Baruch Sterman is Vice President of Technology Research for Vonage, focusing on next-generation projects including the design of the Intelligent Routing platform and mobile video. He has more than 15 years of experience with VoIP technology. Prior to joining Vonage, he was CTO at deltathree. He also was also the founder and CEO of Kayote Networks, and is author of RFC 5090, an extension to the SIP protocol. Mr. Sterman began his career in telecommunications and computer communications with Bell Labs in the late 80s. He has a Doctorate in physics with a concentration in molecular gas lasers from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a Master's degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He recently authored the critically acclaimed book, The Rarest Blue, about the science and history behind the ancient technology of shellfish dyeing.
