With nearly 20 years of experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, Abel Deng has assumed several positions at Huawei headquarters and overseas markets. He is experienced in strategy and process management, organization development, and digital innovation, and served various managerial positions including chief executive officer of Huawei Technologies Thailand.

Last 2 years, Abel Deng has taken Huawei Thailand to the forefront of digital landscape in the country. Under his leadership, the company has become a crucial provider of advanced 5G infrastructure, cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to help boost the economy.  Motivated by the mission of “Growing in Thailand, Contribute to Thailand”, Abel has led the company to cultivate over 41,000 digital talents and 2,000 SMEs & startups in Thailand, helping Thailand build the soil and foundation for a digital era.

In his current capacity, he is responsible for the overall carrier business and strategic management of the company in the Asia Pacific Region as President of Carrier Business Group.
