MINNEAPOLIS -- Allot Communications, the Traffic Management Company, today announced an extension of its partnership with TVC Communications to provide traffic monitoring and management capabilities to Latin America's service providers and cable MSOs. Today's announcement expands a relationship formed in October 2003 between Allot and TVC Canada, to now provide traffic management capabilities to broadband service providers in Mexico, South and Central America, and the Caribbean.

Allot's family of network traffic management solutions will help TVC Latin America's customers classify and shape network traffic down to the application level. By prioritizing important traffic flows, such as video or VoIP and controlling P2P downloads where necessary, Allot enables service providers to deliver reliable service levels to their subscribers. Allot's traffic management platform enhances service provider profitability by enabling innovative new broadband services, controlling P2P traffic, minimizing bandwidth expense, and manage oversubscription rates on their existing network infrastructure.

"Our goal is to help service providers and MSOs improve their operations and profitability by controlling low priority traffic, minimizing bandwidth costs and simultaneously building exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty," said Stephen Quinn, Sr. Vice President, TVC International. "Our partnership with Allot gives us access to the industry's leading traffic management platform and provides a critical component of our overall strategy for achieving these goals."

"Allot has enjoyed a successful partnership with TVC Canada, and we're delighted to extend that partnership into Latin America," said PG Narayanan, CEO for Allot Americas. "Our traffic management platform is quickly becoming the worldwide industry standard for service providers large and small - and today's announcement solidifies our presence in Mexico, South & Central America, and the Caribbean."
