ADC Shakes Up Sales Force

Names Steve Mitchell VP of North America S&M, Hubert Schanne VP of international S&M; Jay Hilbert, former SVP of global sales, is gone

MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT, www.adc.com) today announced a new geographic-based sales and marketing leadership and structure for the company. Steve Mitchell has been named Vice President, North America Sales and Marketing, and Hubert Schanne has been named Vice President, International Sales and Marketing.

"These changes better position ADC to increase our focus on the varied needs of our global customer base," said Robert Switz, ADC's President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are 100 percent committed to meeting our customers' needs around the world. In addition, these new critical positions will report directly to me so I can play a more active role in the execution of the company's new sales and marketing strategies in key markets worldwide."

Schanne previously served as ADC's Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa Sales. Prior to joining ADC in 2002, Schanne served Nortel in various sales leadership positions over a 12-year period.

Mitchell joined ADC earlier in 2003 as Vice President of National Accounts and brings substantial previous sales executive experience including more than 10 years at Marconi in various sales leadership roles.

Jay Hilbert, ADC's former Senior Vice President of Global Sales is no longer with the company. In conjunction with these changes, his position has been eliminated.

"With a strong geographic-based sales leadership team, which we will implement immediately, ADC is well positioned to launch its new fiscal year in November," said Switz. "This change enables us to increase our focus on key customers and growth opportunities worldwide."
