Zaffire Names New CEO

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Zaffire, Inc., a leading developer of optical networking products and technologies, today announced the appointment of James Fultz as its chief executive officer (CEO). Fultz brings to Zaffire more than 15 years of senior management experience in the high-tech sector, most recently serving as executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for Antec Corporation, a leading supplier of fiber-optic broadband transport technologies to RBOCs and Cable MSOs. Fultz will also join Zaffire's board of directors, the company said.

Hearst III, who is also a partner in leading venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
