Tundra to Buy Quadic Systems

Tundra will issue up to 857,801 new common shares and pay US$4.36 million in cash

KANATA, Ontario -- Tundra Semiconductor Corporation (TSE:TUN), a leader in System Interconnect for the Internet and communications infrastructure market, today announced it has closed its agreement to acquire Quadic Systems, Inc. of South Portland, Maine.

Under terms of the agreement, Tundra will issue up to a maximum of 857,801 new common shares and pay $4.36 million U.S. in cash. As previously announced, the maximum consideration payable on the acquisition is $45 million U.S., to be paid 90% in Tundra common shares and 10% in cash.
