Thai gov't has bought Network Electronics' VikinX routers, flashlink optical transport platform, and Conquer signal processing products

SANDEFJORD, Norway -- Network Electronics ASA (Oslo OTC: NETW), the manufacturer of VikinX, a compact and affordable router range, flashlink, a versatile, cost-effective optical transport platform, and ConQuer, signal processing products based in Sandefjord, Norway, has announced a significant sale to the Thai Government Public Relations Department (PRD). The transaction was facilitated by Mr. Prasert Lawachaiyothin, CEO of Trinergy Instrument - Network Electronics' partner in Thailand. The Thai Government PRD utilizes both television and radio to promote national interest and national security through informing both local and foreign publics. The PRD operates the National Radio and Television networks, "Radio Thailand" and "Television of Thailand" and owns 145 radio frequencies, both AM and FM. The PRD's television network covers all regions of Thailand. Its broadcast programs emphasize education and public services. The PRD selected equipment from Network Electronics' popular VikinX" range of compact and cost-effective routers as well as the Company's newly launched Conquer" signal processing product line. The equipment was installed in the PRD's new television transmission facility and includes 48 Video Routers, 48 Audio Routers, more than 100 Video Distributors and 100 Audio Distributors, 20 Video Converters and 20 Audio Converters.
