Texas Prototypes Taps 3SAE

RICHARDSON, Texas -- TEXAS PROTOTYPES, Inc. (TXP) announced today its partnership with 3SAE Technologies, Inc. (3SAE) Nashville, TN to supply advanced optical manufacturing equipment for its new state of the art photonics lab located in Richardson, Texas.

TEXAS PROTOTYPES specializes in quick-turn complex circuit card assemblies and optoelectronic prototyping, new product introduction, and pilot production of electronic assemblies for Technology Innovators and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Contract Manufacturers (CM). The company is housed in a 14,000 square-foot high-tech facility, located in the heart of the Texas Telecom Corridor.

3SAE will provide its entire optical manufacturing product line to TXP including automated fiber preparation equipment using patented Burst Stripping Technology.

3SAE is the North American distributor of Ericsson fusion splicers, fiber recoaters and is a technical trainer of advanced fiber splicing techniques. The new equipment will place TEXAS PROTOTYPES among the most advanced photonics labs throughout the U.S.
