Lab 900 Coating Machine from Leybold is the first of several new machines that Terahertz has on delivery

EDINBURGH -- Terahertz Photonics, a leading Scottish opto-electronic components company, has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art Leybold coating machine to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities to supply its worldwide OEM telecom component company customers. The Lab 900 Coating Machine from Leybold, one of the foremost suppliers in the world, is now operational and supplying customers with state-of-the-art thin-film optical coatings. This machine is the first of several new machines that Terahertz has on delivery to extend its current capacity.Commenting on the significance of this investment, Bruce Ainsley, Coating Business Development Manager, said: "This expansion of our capabilities will enable us to meet customer demand for higher volume production of coated components and allow us to deliver precision, tailor-made coatings on customers' request.
