KPN Appoints E-Plus CEO

THE HAGUE -- KPN is pleased to announce that Michael Krammer (45), currently CEO of Telering Austria, will soon join its German Mobile Unit E-Plus as CEO . His appointment is subject to the closing of the acquisition of Telering by T-Mobile in Austria, which is awaiting EU approval.

In his new function, Michael will report to Stan Miller CEO of KPN's international activities.

Stan Miller said :"I believe Michael Krammer has both the experience and insight in terms of implementing our challenger strategy for Germany ( as he has successfully done in Austria), in order to help us achieve our goals in Germany. Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record. I look forward to working with him in meeting the challenges we face in Germany. Michael Krammer said: " Germany is a great personal opportunity for me to prove that I can implement the strategy that has been defined for Germany by Stan and his team.
