Photonic Bridges has selected TranSwitch’s EtherMap-3 mapper for four new Ethernet-over-Sonet/SDH (EOS) platforms

SHELTON, Conn. -- TranSwitch® Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC), a leading developer and global supplier of innovative, high speed VLSI semiconductor solutions, today announced that Photonic Bridges has selected TranSwitch’s EtherMap®-3 mapper for four new Ethernet-over-SONET/SDH (EoS) platforms – the MetroWave™ 8300 and 8100 Multi-Service Provisioning Platforms (MSPPs) and also the MetroWave™ 808 and 801 Multi-Service Access Platforms (MSAPs).
