UBIqube continues global expansion with new offices in Moscow and Dubai
May 21, 2009
PARIS -- UBIqube Solutions SA, a global integrated network and security-management solutions vendor, today announced the opening of new sales offices in Moscow and Dubai. Continuing the company’s global expansion, the new offices will extend UBIqube’s reach into markets that continue to grow during the global recession.
Despite forecasts of a decline in IT spending globally, the managed services market is projected to grow from nearly $41 billion in 2009 to $65.5 billion in 2012, according to Ovum 2008. UBIqube is expanding in the U.S., Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East with converged network, IT security and VoIP management solutions that provide service providers and system integrators with modular and scalable tools for their managed services offerings.
UBIqube’s Moscow office will serve the company’s growing roster of customers in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Dubai office will serve the Middle East market. The company’s partners in Russia/CIS include Step Logic, a multivendor Russian system integrator, and ONLANTA, which is part of the LANIT Group, a leading IT services provider.
New UBIqube partners will offer a full suite of IT-infrastructure support services for the financial, energy, telecommunications, transport, retail, services and other sectors. By using UBIqube’s MSActivatorTM solution, they can now offer customers enhanced IT security and a complete suite of services for device provisioning, configuration management, monitoring and reporting. MSActivator’s supported services include managed VPN firewall, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, anti-spam and URL filtering.
“The opening of offices in Moscow and Dubai is a continuation of our global expansion strategy and underscores the validity of our technology and market demand,” said Nabil Souli, CEO and chairman of UBIqube. “These new regional offices will enable UBIqube to more efficiently meet the business goals of tier-one service providers and integrators in emerging telecom regions such as Russia and the Middle East. UBIqube is in a unique position to help our partners capitalize on the growing opportunities in converged managed services.”
