Ericsson Closes Acquisition of TeleOSS

STOCKHOLM -- Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) today announces the completion of its acquisition of the entire business of TeleOSS Consulting Ltd. in Thailand through a business transfer agreement. Today’s announcement of the closing of the deal on September 2, 2013, follows the initial announcement of Ericsson’s intention to purchase TeleOSS on July 12, 2013.

"The acquired capabilities, especially in the areas of traffic and inventory management, together with Ericsson’s extensive offering in the OSS area, complement our wide range of solutions. This enables us to offer high-quality service delivery to our customers and further strengthen our customer relations in Southeast Asia and Oceania," says Paolo Colella, Head of Consulting and Systems Integration at Ericsson. The acquisition also complements Ericsson’s comprehensive Operations Support Systems product portfolio.

Approximately 50 skilled consulting and systems integration professionals will be welcomed and integrated into Ericsson in Thailand over the coming months, and will work under the Ericsson brand as of September 2, 2013.
