Optinel Systems announces new board member, Jim Faust

ELKRIDGE, Md. -- Optinel Systems, a privately held provider of optical communication systems for the cable market, announced today the addition of James Faust to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Faust has held senior management positions with ClearBand, Evolve, Antec Network Technologies, General Instrument, and Scientific-Atlanta. In 1977, Mr. Faust founded and served as president of Zenith Cable Products, which introduced some of the first interactive subscription television systems. "Optinel is honored to have Jim Faust join our Board of Directors," said Sandeep Vohra, President and Co-founder of Optinel Systems.
