Bookham Appoints Sales VP

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Bookham Inc., (Nasdaq: BKHM), a leading provider of high performance optical components, modules and subsystems, today announced the appointment of 20-year telecommunications industry veteran Yves LeMaitre as vice president of global sales for Bookham's telecommunications division and vice president of corporate marketing. Mr. LeMaitre, who will be based in Bookham's headquarters in San Jose, will be responsible for leading the Company's telecom sales team and corporate communications group.
